The Bird Flu
I had this exceptionally wierd dream last night. I dreamt that i had contracted Bird Flu. I don't know why but at the time this dream was more like a nightmare because it scared me really bad. Like most dreams or nightmares (i'm guessing) it really made no sense whatsoever for the most part.
Let me stop a second and tell you what i know about Bird Flu... i't a virus that can kill people and doesn't yet have a vaccine.
That's the extent of my knowledge on the subject.
Anyway, in my dream i had contracted Bird Flu, on top of that it had a weird symptom that made your teeth fall out and you gums bleed horribly.
When i found out i had Bird Flu i was strangely at peace in my dream. I was going around with my father doing some things in the last few hours/days of my life. That part wans't scary but then i saw these kids, three of them, who were in the final stages of Bird Flu or something, they weren't in pain but their teeth had fallen out and their gums bled constantly. They had had false dentures made that they wore in their mouth, these dentures had vampire fang.
The kids would open their mouths and hiss at me. Then i woke up to the sound of Heart-Shaped Box by Nirvana playing from my ipod's alarm clock.
I don't know why if felt like blogging about this but i can't get it out of my head. That dream seemed so real when it was happening but then i wake up to realize that it isn't. My heart was beating rapidly and i was very alert.
I don't have any clue why this dream even scared me though, the kids with the teeth thing was just odd and in the dream i wasn't sad i was at peace.
Maybe i'm just getting myself worked up sub-consciously about Bird Flu. I need to stop worrying about it really.

Oh man! what a freaky dream!!! I hate those kind. You dwell on them all day long... *shivers* that creeps me out!

Dude...that's...weird.
yeah...i understand...i've had dreams like that. they affect you for a while... it is really weird. i don't know where that comes from. I mean, for me, a lot of times if i try to explain the dream, it really doesn't sound bad at all, but i'm still really freaked out... just don't get the bird flu... i'd be sad...
