Last night we were down at the Long's house for dinner. Strange thing was that we had Japanese food. Yes you read correctly, to make it even weirder we had Japanese food made by a Bosnian guy, named Sasha, not to mention that it was his first time ever making Sushi. I was really impressed. He made crab, salmon, cucumber, and caviar sushi. I tried a little bit of everything.
I have had sushi before, in fact i love sushi, tis one of my favorite foods. But Sasha made killer sushi last night. I would have to say the only thing i didn't like about his sushi was that he put mayonaisse in with the rice, i have never eaten sushi like that before, it was a minor thing and did not diminish the awesome flavor of the overall meal.
I thing the absolute weirdest part of the meal was the caviar sushi. I have never eaten caviar before yesterday, it had the single most weirdest texture, above anything i have ever eaten. Not to say that it tasted bad, it tasted kinda good actually, but the feeling of fish eggs inside my mouth was just so incredibly weird.
